Genentech Oncology
Our initiatives are based on a simple premise: that an improved journey for people with cancer is both necessary and achievable. With patient needs at the forefront, our patient experience efforts are spread across five areas:
to cancer treatments, screening awareness programs, and diagnostic tests for all patients
to reach patients where they are
that truly meet patient needs
with the potential for greater convenience, lower costs, improved patient experience, and availability across sites of care
that improves patient access to quality care

We are a founding sponsor of the American Cancer Society’s (ACS) Get Screened initiative, which is intended to rapidly restore and improve screening rates in communities that have faced historical inequities and have been most strongly impacted by the pandemic. Since the launch of this initiative in 2020, we have seen approximately 1.2M new screenings conducted and approximately 16,000 cancers diagnosed that may not have otherwise been found.
